Éclairs Poem by Vishorag Shadja

Éclairs

Rating: 5.0

Sulking that I missed lunch,
I raced down the stairs…
Buying chocolate to munch,
I saw the flowing éclairs…

Saw a child hungry and frail,
With glassy longing eyes..
I offer éclairs without fail,
Strengthening human ties.
