I would love for my wishes to come true,
But, what we hear from elders we knew,
For, you need to be careful about what you wish
Coz what might destiny be ready to dish?

Though Disappointing are events and life,
We should move on without much strife.
Assuring that Laughable will those events be,
When years will roll by and you will see.

I say Experience is the best teacher,
It gives tests first, but lessons later,
So one thing that I don't understand about life,
Why do we care so much about strife?

Power, influence, monetary gain,
Brings nothing but immense pain.
Try explaining this to a snob,
That Happiness is an inside job.

I stand under the scorching sunlight,
Simply watch people trivially fight.
Assuring myself how laughable those events be,
Coz years will roll by, and you will see…
