Classics And Beauty Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Classics And Beauty

A piece of literature,
Though meritorious,
To attain its status,
Must get seasoned.

A beauty queen on stage,
Still in bloom of fragrance,
From a new entrance,
Must die of elegance.

Literature ferments to gain.
Beauty fades from new stains.
