Clichéd you say… Hell no!
I take a licking and keep on ticking
Me, I am the all American guy
use to be just the average Joe
I had washboard abs
now it’s a six pack belly
Me… I am no Barbie doll but
my face launched a thousand ships
Now I am a finalist for…
Extreme makeover’s new season
My mottos… you ask?
If it aint broke, don’t fix it
The early bird catches the worm
Early to bed, early to rise…
(don’t remember the rest) . and
No stone unturned etc. etc.
And furthermore…less we forget
I am true blue, an American icon
Clichéd you say? Hell no…
I am just a poet scratching for words!
(maybe I am clichéd…)
Another priceless piece of poetic buffoonery written with a skillful pen and a tongue firmly wedged in cheek. My God, without cliche, there would be no television! Not that's an idea... Fun read. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Touche, love the cliches! You seem to have been writing up a Storm in a Teacup...
