what an incredibly deep and emotional poem from the heart knowledge of the earth that most take for granted, I oly wish we could somehow save this planet for our childrens children.
.......when the rain does come....it will all come in one day....not the slow steady rain which nourishes the earth's plants and animals....but a torrential downpour to ravage the land....yes truly there is no denying the fact our climate is changing....eventually the earth will be like other planets (unhospitable) ....an unlivable place for all life forms...because mankind refuses to change their selfish ways...and cares not for the earth and future generations....a perfect example of this is california which is facing an extreme drought....with no rain for months...there is no water for the farmers to produce food....so food prices will skyrocket....the water supply is at a critical level....yet the people are refusing to lower their levels of water consumption...with no water we shall all perish sooner rather than later....as water is our most valuable resource....and earth is the most precious place in the universe we all need to make a change...thanks for writing this piece...
the poet's concern for preserving Nature is well founded and appreciated.
