Clocks Poem by Robert Sheridan

Clocks

Slayers of time
Watch the hand
not the minute
Right the same
time every day
Kill time a
waste of time
Consumes one’s life
hour after hour
Can’t turn back
but have to
wind – if stopped
still a purveyor
of your time
Captures special moments
never will unwind
Minute spent – hour
earned... timing in
life is everything.
