Clouds Passed By Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Clouds Passed By

Clouds Passed By

Clouds passed by and I counted them.
I didn't amount to much to do such.
They passed by like they had no care.
They were only there.

I began to wonder if at this time
This meant anything or not.
The sky was blue and the clouds white.
Everything was so bright.

But by and by the thunder came.
No matter how I heard it
It was the same.
It drowned out the clouds and the beautiful day.

The meaning of this phenomenon
Was clear to me.
That all was wonderful to see.
The clouds and the thunder made each other

A beautiful phenomenon.
