Cloudscape Lullaby Poem by Akham Nilabirdhwaja Singh

Cloudscape Lullaby

Dear child, if you call me from skies above,
Raising your face so tender and sweet,
I'll rush to join in clouds we both love
Where our hearts in misty joy will meet.

We'll play hide-and -seek through vapors so fine,
Among silky clouds in playful delight,
Dashing and laughing, your hand clasped in mine,
Forgetting earth's worries in heavenly flight.

The air will shimmer with our merry chimes,
Like tinkling silver in the breeze so light
We'll sculp from misty wool beasts of old times-
Lions and birds that soar through rainbow sight.

Riding their backs through gales of coloured doors,
Till twilight gilds the edges soft with gold,
Then dance on feathered walkways evermore,
In this sweet dream where worries never hold.

No sorrow here, just games that never end,
Endless waddles with you, my friend.
