The coast was clear, a sea breeze blew
The waves were small, the boats were too
They sailed so silently for miles
My fellow path walkers were full of smiles
The birds rising effortlessly above the sea
Some flying over the cliffs nearby me,
The sun making everything endlessly blue
Making me wish that you'd come into view
It's not been that long, and I miss you each day
Me throwing a ball, and you running away
Bringing it back, so we could start again
And now all I have is that ball, and this pain
