Coconut Grove Poem by RIC BASTASA

Coconut Grove

She carries her body
like a swing of delights

i got wings too
and i carry my body like
a coconut palm

she will find comfort in my
shade
and my wings shall cover
her body

she becomes a smooth sand
wrapping my body

i am a tree and she will always
be a swing to me.
