Colapse Poem by Alexander Thompson

Colapse

Rating: 5.0

one heart breaks to break another,
weep your metal bends and flakes,
time is lost and nought is healing,
chip the jagged wind with frost,
icicles that bolt and spike,
ill drink a drink i seldom like,
and drown my soul in widows tears,
and all the while the whisper nears,
into my soul a creaky moan,
that sets my teeth to brittle bone,
and shatterd skull and colapsed lung,
cut the hate right off my tounge,
theres no honour in an honest word,
cause speakest true it wont be heard,
so mingle not with roots and lies,
let up thy love to barron skys,
and drain the blood that fed my feet,
so theres no need for us to meet,
with wish but last fresh breath of my lips do seal,
and make me no more but a dream, not real.
