Cold Winter Night - Poem by Sherif Monem

It is cold, cold, cold
Cold as one imagines it can be
There is no shining sun
No silver moon
The blanket of darkness
hangs over the air
The thick mighty clouds
cover the skies above
The chilly air fiercely blows
One feels numb
No more hot summer nights
No more spring and flowers
No more autumn crispy nights
No birds singing and cheering
All is silent
It is winter night
