their attires

Red, yellow, green
tika, earrings, sandles
beautiful are
the accessories

Red, yellow, green
hair clips, roses, smiles
these are the
colours of Teej

Haritalika Teej, celebrated on Bhadra Shukla Tritiya as per Nepali lunar calendar, is a big occasion in Nepal. The poem captures the images of the festival. Women wear red sarees, yellow bead-necklace and green bangles.
