Come See... Poem by Edmund V. Strolis

Come See...

Rating: 5.0

As I show you these snapdragons
Take a breath and SEE them
Faces eastward shining
Painted by the morning sun
With grace they stand so stately
Glad faces, solar sisters
None strain or go astray
Content in sibling splendor
Sound and sturdy
Untroubled by the winds
We could learn from them
A rainbow of colors
Contrasting yet content
This family of snapdragons
None desiring a special pot.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I came and i saw! How wonderful! Edmund, this is a brilliant poem. So very refreshing to see a poem on nature's wonder - the flowers - with a rainbow of colours! The snapdragons stand unitedly with tolerance with a stately grace. This poem deserves a full 100.
