Comes At Its Sweet Will Poem by Sumita Jetley

Comes At Its Sweet Will

Rating: 5.0

In Lucknow's embrace, at dawn's first light,
A Sufi young, with soul so bright,
On rooftop high, midst old lanes' sight,
Plays sitar, in morning's quiet flight.

Strings whisper tales of love divine,
In melodies where faith and heart entwine,
Birds circle, in dance benign,
Captured by the spell of notes' fine line.

The city stirs, yet time stands still,
In prayer and song, his spirit's fill,
A journey inward, of his own will,
On paths of peace, over worldly thrill.

Gratitude flows, like river wide,
For moments sacred, in dawn's early tide,
Where heart and heavens seem to coincide,
In this serene, spiritual guide.
