When I'm in need of mental strength,
On you my friend, I can rely.
I merely need to ask for help
For you are always standing by.

You fortify my waning stamina
When strife takes its toll,
And problems make it difficult
To keep my tears in control.

You give me hope for positive times
When opportunities have slipped away.
You inspired me with your allegiance
That clearly guides my way.

I'm appreciative for your sincere
Intervention like a sweet, white dove,
But most of all, I'm appreciative
Not only for you, but the Almighty above.
