oh it is not that way,
that just because you love
then everything shall turn
out okay.

it is not that, oh,
oh my, it is never like
that

sometimes, oh it is
this way, you love and
keep it to yourself

you love and let the
silence make its way
towards the other end

if you speak love leaves
if you begin to touch
love escapes

there is a way to love
a bird
but keeping it free

there is a way to love
a flower
by not cutting it
from its body

there is a way to love
the self and yet still love
the other so well

nothing is sacrificed
nothing is gained nothing is lost

this is the fulcrum
and that is your weight.
here i am
comforted by this balance.
