Coming Down The Hallway Poem by james watkin

Coming Down The Hallway

A footfall, close by;
And not so far off
As what, parallel's brook's
Ripple procedure.
Finer toed, creeping;
And by slow degrees
Gains what, in raindrop's spell
Lulls discomposure.
