Coming Home Poem by Kasia Fedyk

Coming Home

Rating: 1.5

Home

Be still my beating heart-
you are on your way home,
you have just called me,
the rhythm of my heart
intensifies, I smile
-the radiation sculpting the curve
on my lips, comes from the depth
of my heart
-you are coming home
you were barely gone,
only one night and a day,
I am walking on rose petals
and making dinner.
