Companionships Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Companionships

Rating: 5.0

Beautiful
dreams
drowned
with words
without heart.
Love tearfully cursed
rotten, drawn, unheeded
unnecessary, unpraised.
Staggered forgotten
women regretfully
chasing rotting
relationships.
Mourning
haunting
dripping
storied
voices
spiriting
away lifeless
passionless grifted
companionships.

Evocative and insightful commentary on broken relationships which looks appealing at times. Thanks very much.
