Compromising Situations - Poem by Angela Marie Lara

Circumstances have
A tendency to turn
Into bigger problems
Why haven't we learned?

Tempers flare
Defenses rise
When what we should do
Is compromise.

Tribulations will pass
Sacrifice we must
The blame is on both
We need only to trust.

We must finally agree
To disagree
And redesign
Our destiny.
