Compulsory Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Compulsory

Life,
Compulsory with the muse of love;
Bringing peace and joy to all!
With your story,
With my story;
With your history,
With my history;
And, to obey the commandments!
According to the law.

The muse of life,
Wives should honour their own husbands;
Whether they are mighty or insignificant.
Pall, appalling!
With the lifestyle of mankind today;
Low, owl!
To the people;
Sole, ole!
Under the muse of nature;
However, husbands should honour their wives as well.
