This thing that people believe in does not exist
It is just used as one of many effective weapons
Seeking to control our behavior at every turn

From the stories of the first beings
To the stories of the present day
We are told to believe in this concept
Making us strive to fill this made up void
In a means to control our way of living

We are acting against our very nature
By this idea created by an influential group
As they seek to play the almighty creator
By trying to control the flow of evolution

This concept is born of two desires
As one seeks control they also desire power
And manipulation is best suited to achieve both

This concept has been used to manipulate
A great number of nations into entering war
Leaving nothing but devastation in its wake
Allowing themselves to be taken over
By the scavengers seeking domination
