Once, I thought I would marry,
Just one time in my life.
Once, I thought I could change the world,
To better all our lives.
Once, I thought I was invincible,
I could conquer anything.
Once, I thought I was made of steel,
Or some kind of stone.
Once, I thought I was strong.
And could get through anything.
Once, I thought I could it all,
I could do anything.
You showed me just how wrong I was,
And how I need you still.
Now I know I need you,
To conquer all my fears.
I need your strength, when I am weak,
And your courage, when I feel small,
And most of all I need your love,
Because love conquers all.
