Confusion Poem by Joyleen Heneker

Confusion

Confusion is my state of mind
Locked into the darker side
I fear all these things
I fear for not belonging
The changes that are not happening
The fear for not being thin
My confusion sets the mood im in
With happiness set aside
A type that makes a million mistakes
A habit of not doing right
Im dazed in my own world
A world I’ve been introduced to
Yet there’s a world I’ve never been
The one where love and happiness is every thing
The world where every thing is new and exciting
No dwelling or hatred
Where confusion is a thing of the past
Where self hurt and death isn’t an answer
Where laughter is not an effort every day
When smiling isn’t fake
No more blood spilt cos of my rage
And tears fall from my eyes no more
A place to go where nothing fulls apart
Where my heart is one thing
And not split apart
Where mirrors are nothing more then a reflection
A place I feel I am accepted to myself, by myself
Where beauty is only skin deep
And the out side is just my shell
Where shattered dreams are repairable
This is my state of confusion
My world I live in
