Confusions Surrender To The Last Breath Poem by Sangeeta Chakraborty

Confusions Surrender To The Last Breath

Confusions are led by priority,
And from what do priorities come?
At times, from basic needs,
And then, from temptations.

Humans are beings of confusion.
Whether to choose another being or attire,
it's the same!
The more appealing the attire,
The stronger the temptations.
While the simple and comfortable often lose.

Yet when temptation fades,
Confusion surrenders.
And answers unfold.

Humans are complex and confused,
With improved brains and minds,
Haunted by success and rule.
But what rules them?
Nourishment for the ego?

With limited breaths,
We choose daily.
How to spend each one,
With whom, with what?
Luxury or simplicity?
Perfection or imperfection?

Yet who is perfect?
The mirror says it all!
The good, the bad, the ugly, the ugliest.

Humans are beings of confusion.
Yet confusion signifies intelligence.
Greater minds have more ideas,
More ideas, more choices.

In this mother universe,
We are only options,
God is deciding each day,
Whom to grant another breath,
Whom to give their last one.
Does God ever get confused?

The good souls often die,
While the bad ones conquer,
And the world suffers.

I have seen many deaths,
of beings, of emotions,
of deepest desires, of promises.

Wrapped in temporary breath,
trapped in temporary desires,
We are all temporary options to someone!
We are all temporary beings in this mother universe.
Every breath is temporary!
Then why so much confusions?

In the end, less is more!
A truth we realize in our last breath.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Every day, I try a little to impose simplicity in my life. It's not easy, and I believe it's a long journey. But I got one solution, Simplicity (less is more) can help us dealing with the confusions we encounter in life.
