Connections Poem by Logan Fulk

Connections

Our souls bound to each other we wander
We touch, feel, and understand each other
But in reality we know nothing of each other
This is our connection to life

Our essence like dust flowing in the wind
Whispering in the ears of all
It bleeds from every heart
And rings through every mind

When we enter the shallow realm of thought
We find ourselves deeper than we could imagine
The bell tolls for us in the distance
Its echo traveling across time

The trail of tears and blood
Traversed by every soul
Is a road sought out by many
Yet so few will willing go

Yet as the sun settles in the east
And the moon comes out from the clouds
We look up in the sky and we see
The connection that binds every life
