Consequences Of Falling Poem by Aimee Rozen

Consequences Of Falling

I scraped my knees
and bruised my back.
I hit my head;
I fell through the cracks.
I stumbled and tripped
all over the place.
I tried to avoid,
but landed flat on my face.
You took my hand
and stole my heart;
acquired my love;
now I'll play the part.
To honor and love;
serve and obey.
Keep from you my secrets;
learn how to betray.
We must be tangled
in our web of lies.
We've lost sight of the love;
the death of it cries!
