Constellation Poem by Joeremy Ong

Constellation

You're my star
but you belong in a constellation.
Scratch that.

You're a star
and you belong
in a constellation.

You are above
higher than the clouds
having an immerse distance—

While I
am in a far distance below you
I can never reach you.

even if you're falling
I can never
catch you.

I liked this! I liked the change of mind- it made the poem more immediate, more personal, and definitely gave the speaker character and realism! ! ! ! All in a few lines! Fine piece of writing.
