The Sun And The Moon

The torrid and relentless sun.
The dim and silvery moon.
They exist,
Yet one hides as the other comes.
Though occasionally,
Both can be conspicuous simultaneously.
Some say we're preordained
To be on the other sides of the world,
But others say
We're written on the stars;
Tantamount to
The sun and the moon.
