Contemplating The Complex One Poem by Dorsey Baker

Contemplating The Complex One

I read you
like a cross
word puzzle
trying to
figure out
the words
you speak with
a silver tongue
but still
I cannot understand you!
you move so fast
I cannot
keep up
with you slow down
don't be
in such a hurry!
trying to
distant yourself
away from me
you build
a wall I cannot
go through
I cannot jump over
you are trying
so hard
to confuse me!
