Contradiction Poem by G. Savagewolf

I have always been a walking contradiction.

Trapped between hunting for peace and an insatiable craving for chaos.

Lost amongst the ever present longing to be loved and the fear of attachment that inevitably follows in its footsteps.

But most of all I am caged by my rage born from the past pains that lingered all these years, and yet intoxicated by the calm that sweeps over me when I realize I am free from the shackles.

Yes I am a walking contradiction but isn't that what it means to be human.
