Controling Love - Poem by Amanda harding

He took my life
Without my say
This will forever be his way
The hurt i felt beneath his grip
His constant sense of ownership
But he does not control my soul
For an angel has made me whole
My angel gave me wings to fly
My angel showed me the sky
His big strong arms
Shield me from the pain
He has no controlling shame
His words comfort me
His eyes show me love
My trust restored
My love felt true
My angel took me up
I flew......

I must say I never was able to understand many peoples poems when it comes to love but you expressed it so well and I felt like I was in your mind reading your thoughts then. It's absolutely magical. (Report) Reply

Someone took that chard of control away too and I remember who I am, I wish you well. Azriel x - x.

    For Leslie:

A soul in flight with wings beating fast and hard
Breathing in to take the nights dreams,
    Living to breathe
Only to reach in the weariness of dawn, waiting for night to leave

The cold light of day dissolves the darkness and pain
The shadow in the corner begins to fade,
but bearing the mark of ridule remains
    The soul is alone again

Lost in the world, the soul must find passion
Must this pleasure have the foul blade
meant to cut and desease the devine
Bleeding with the blood of innocence

Rid the world of the sufferer's touch
End the misery afforded by cruelty, lonely and sad
take the mark from the breast no longer craving the night
Stop the want for evenings call

Darkness will come again, the soul will be
Weak and alone the eyes will not see the madness
    that comes with the night
The music has a tragic grip of the falcon's hunt

There is the no radio sitting in silence
Listen with your bloody heart, the tune is born with
darkness of repetitive beats the music becomes the static of the
Fly higher and faster, escape the chords of discorse

Take the dream of creatures whose violation is love
Then will the crimson blood dry
and the prey will escape to search the softened midnight air
Breathing, fast and hard, with a caress of another

Touched by an angel, giving back what was taken
Being devine, not of this world, willing
to halt the sickness of the blazing beat, taking on the pain
Giving the phantom love its last chard of control

Soaring with the angel in the quietness of sweeter passion
Sleep, turn the music off and sleep in the bosom of another
one winged angel, whose soul must land to rest
Renew and regain the strength after a battle well fought

    Azriel x - x.
