Corruption Justified With Tribal Marks. Poem by Solomon Terlumun Tule

Corruption Justified With Tribal Marks.

Rating: 5.0

He's a thief,
that stole from public purse.
He was caught, imprisoned,
the people rumbled;
'can't imprison own'
Though he pleaded guilty
they said it's persecution
just because he's a clan
Ethnicity is used as a tool
to justify the crime
He's acquitted
His head they render a crown
There's street jubilations
with praises that made him high
How a thief they crown hero!
just because he's a kin
corruption justified with tribal marks.
