Could Wish But You Poem by Obiaeli Ifediirichukwu Victor

Could Wish But You

To you I owe a heart
Veins that cannot be detached
To you I owe a fruit
Flower which cannot either
To none but you I owe a wish
Horses without riders
Like stars hanging on space
Blending grasses in the water
Amidst the wind wish I a wild rose
I wish the soar of eagles
I wish many a thing
New beginnings
If it was not for one
I could have wished more
So I wish you
My Bliss but nothing
