Count Me Out Poem by Stanley Cooper

Count Me Out

Rating: 5.0

Arithmetic so numerical
Too confounding and generical
I find no pleasure or emotions
Searching for divided quotients

When adding or subtracting many digits
I find myself unnerved with nervous fidgets
And have never found or reaped much satisfaction
Improperly multiplying improper fractions

So when in need of calculation
Or very heady calibration
I hope the world will understand
My ostriched head, down in the sand
