Count The Stars Poem by Patti Masterman

Count The Stars

Rating: 4.9

Count the stars across your journey,
Count the stars you've yet to face;
Curling round the world, so tiny,
Countless stars have left their trace.

Count the stars from birth to dying,
Shooting stars that won't return;
Lucky stars that once you wished on:
Life extinguish, while they burn..

stars, before us, with us, and after us... so much life cruising the cosmos, and our own lives so fleeting. may we notice all we are able while we pass through this part of livings sky... like the shooting stars we are. thanks for making me think... your poems tend to do that!
