Country Kin Poem by Arik Fletcher

Country Kin

We ain’t chilling on a Nashville night,
No Daisy Dukes or G.R.I.T.S in sight,
A couple beers and country sound,
Still keep the vibe around.

We ain’t ever been to Tucson,
No dirt roads we’ve been on,
A cowboy hat and Southern smile,
Still kick it for a while.

We ain’t even American,
No drawl or sun-kissed tan,
A memory in every song,
Still keep us Country strong.
