Country ramblin‘ and whistlin‘ a tune
Actin' crazy beneath the full moon
And I'm hopin' to be with you soon
Feelin' lazy but I'm getting' the job done
The Earth is blooming and rising
Without the wind and rain disguising
All its beauty and it's captivating everyone who's someone!
Country Ramblin' and the moon rays come a-shinin'
Country Ramblin' with no clouds on the horizon
Country Ramblin' and I'm feeling so excited
with the stars up in the sky!
Country Ramblin' and I'm blowin' the breeze
Through the flowers and up to the trees
And I'm prayin' but not on my knees
With all my prowess I'm getting' the work done
And the road that I am travelin'
Has got me close to nearly unravellin'
All the clues to where I have to go to
and where I've always come from.
Country Ramblin' and the moon rays come a-shinin'
Country Ramblin' with no clouds on the horizon
Country Ramblin' and I'm feeling so excited
It brings the tears into my eyes.
Yes I feel that nothin' gonna stop the blue skies that are comin'
And I know when I reach your lips my fires will ignite
and burn all through the night.
And I feel that nothin' gonna rain upon the birds a-hummin' with you and I
and the moon up in the sky.
