Couples whom you may know
Name them one by one
In ancient times of long ago
Or in this contemporary world
Describes the best of them

Marvels those you recognize
Among our very midst
Ordinary but quite known
Within us, in our reach
Whom may you delight about

Start from the very beginning
The Hebrew scriptures talks much
Adam and Eve whom God created
First parents in the garden of Eden
Where all of us had come from

Due to the lure of the evil one
Disobedience paves the way
For sin to revolt against the wish
Of this great and mighty Creator
Drove us to a much cruel world

Now we are all in this marvelous flight
Numerous options to choose from
It's your personal decision that counts
For what you want in this life of yours
Will surely lead to a cause and an effect
