Courage In You Poem by Dorsey Baker

Courage In You

her body
almost naked
she stood
boldly
in the morning light
the sun
as a fire
it blazed
at the window watching
a raven amazed
a nervous breakdown
a path taken
a choice
is made
sharp as a razor
the bloody blade
bitten by
the dog
you suffer the bite
knowing that
darkness is just darkness
it cannot
overcome the light!
