Courage Is Required
When there is nothing to look forward to
But problems and difficulties
Unhappy moments and unhappy days
Courage is required
And when one is old and weak and tired
Courage is more difficult
And Despair more real
And life more difficult
And courage required
Courage all the way through
So long as this is possible
Until the end
Courage is required.
