Courageous Heart Poem by Enyinwa Okechukwu Enyinwa

Courageous Heart

I crawled out of my shell with courage.
Though my pen bleeds blood,
May your heart not your head
Embrace these words.

Courage has me whispering
though my lips tremble.

And though the trees have ears,
My courageous heart beats still.

A courageous smile breaks down steel
A courageous heart toys with
bull horns
A courageous mind inhales the scent of freedom.

Fear is far from my courageous heart.
