In this world of madness
That's equaled in sadness
People everywhere
Looking for a little gladness

Some people live in fear
Caused by the news they hear
It seems their thoughts they cannot steer
Away from talking heads who are near

The outlook isn't grim
So come on pick up your chin
When all is said and done
In the end we're gonna win

But it will take some time
Until things again are fine
That's when once again
Freedom will be your's and mine
