Cow Thoughts Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Cow Thoughts

Take the saying 'holy cow'
and analyze it right now
it exclaims astonishment…
that's an accomplishment

Now let's take another term
'more cow bell…' it stirs concern
increasing volume that repeats
a rhythm that moves your feet

When the cows come home
they no longer graze and roam
their udders are stretched and full
time for milking…that's no bull

For those of you who like beef
let me mention…but be brief
the silliness that has been exposed
has been silenced… the gate is closed

I enjoy the poem, it remind me of the cattle camp I left 20 years in Bor.
