What Does It Mean? - Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

I had a vision or was it a dream…
In meditation I was completely immersed
I saw an image flying in a darkened sky
Its fiery wings spanned the universe
It was carrying someone, I think it was me

Wings of strength glided and soared
Gleaming feathered arms guided the trek
Stemming from a weightless scaled body
Was a sleek extended headless neck…
Or so it appeared, in the rapid blue blur

With wits barely clinging, I opened my eyes
I checked my pulse and expanded my chest
Just what was it that I had just seen?
My interpretation as a witness, I could not attest
I am a delusional wide-eyed expert in a maze

As I pondered, this is what I got…
The reason for happenings are not always shown
Apparent forces intervene and take charge
Lifting with radar sensors to the unknown
Cloaked in mystery; protecting my wellbeing

Dreams need not always have meanings. Bits and pieces one may collect after opening the yes, may have some connections to little little things in real life'.What ever that may be, poets articulation of words and phrases to a rhythmic pattern in verse form is both credible and creditable. Congrats for being the member's PoD. X (Report) Reply

'Cloaked in mystery' are the visions and dreams. A poem of rhythm and some rhyme that conveys the experience so well. (Report) Reply

An upbeat tune just for you to listen too. Taking in every word. Don't despair you're not alone. Not for too long. I'm safe: alone again, naturally for you. Congratulation! ! ! (Report) Reply

A smoothly composed, jaunty retelling of a dream─or was it a vision? A reminder that there is more to existence than that which can be detected and measured by material sensors. The universal experience of something greater than the physical universe. Some would call it a biochemical reaction to not-fully-digested pizza, but if we allow ourselves the freedom to operate beyond our physical senses, we will find that we are equipped to exist as more than just a collection of bioelectrically charged compounds.
