Cowgirl At Heart Poem by Macy (Nina) Dvirnak

Cowgirl At Heart

I am a city slicker,
Yet a cowgirl at heart.
In other words,
A cowgirl held hostage
In the city.
Riding a piano bench,
Instead of a horse.
Breathing restaurant aromas
In the air
Instead of manure.
Paved streets,
Not gravel roads.
Oh! How I long to ride,
For this...
Is how I feel inside.
