Cows And Their Babies Poem by Marilyn Lott

Cows And Their Babies

Cows with their babies
So much fun they are to see
Loving moms they are as well
Out under the clouds and trees

What fun it is to watch them
As babies nibble for their lunch
Do they whine at naptime?
They probably do I have a hunch

A herd of cows congregate
Inside a neat fence or barn
Many times along with a dog or cat
The cattle won’t do them any harm

I think I will make plans soon
And I really don’t mean maybe
To venture out into the country
Visit some cows and their babies

It’s a wonderful country setting
A place to rest peacefully
Out under the open sky
Perhaps you could even join me!
