Crawling Call Poem by Jayram Daya

Crawling Call

Rating: 5.0

When you looked down on me
I looked up with hope
When I raced with the ants
I saw your toes go bye

With hands lifted, I called
To be released from the floor
With a hug, my cry stopped
To say, I love you Mom.

When life was a struggle
I looked up again
When rewards are few
I saw your help go bye

With a forty fast, I called
To be guided from the pains
With my head down I prayed
To say, I love you my Lord.
