' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' Creator Of The Heavens - Poem by Dónall Dempsey
Beetlejuice O' Ryan
we called him
drank himself silly
(real name Billy)
placing the stars
in the4 sky
exactly where they should be
constellations
flocked
to his hand
as he drunkenly
created them
for our amazed
eyes
the stars coming alive
with archers & maidens
Orion
the apple of his eye
as if he had personally
put them there
adjusted their position
until they were perfect
& then falling
from grace
courtesy of the wine
flowing
through
his veins
he'd stumble
& stutter
th rough the icy
night
singing at the top
of his voice
Beetlejuice O' Ryan
Creator of
the Heavens.
